RISK4SEA New Version 6.0 is coming

The RISK4SEA new version 6.0 is due to be introduced within early March 2026, introducing a set of new groundbreaking developments along with more power to the users with improved visibility and export capability.

Version 6.0 will introduce new report tabs and features that will provide more power to the users, including:

• New TRAIL Report (PSCI Track, Review, Assessment & Inspection Learning)
• Ship Report history linked to TRAIL and also  sisterships & peer ship performance added
• Manager Report additions with new Manager Risk Profile, full in depth Quarterly performance and Checklists in depth analysis
• Port Report with new Risk Profile, Detentions List, Quarterly Performance & Fleet Performance
• Deficiency profile extended updates and Deficiency benchmarking now available in all entity reports
• New Top Performers in depth analysis (top to bottom) with all 7 KPIs for Ships, Managers, Ports, Class, Flag
• All PSCIs available in the PSCI dashboard with access to TRAIL and also option to get a PSCI Dashboard Report for a specific period of time
• New Port Alerts Dashboard with all the 10 key Alerts early warning system for the challenging ports

With the new version 6.0 all PSCIs, Ships, Managers, Ports are benchmarked and scored on the basis of seven (7) PSC key KPIs (see www.risk4sea.com/methodology) along with the new scoring system, in the respective report snapshot. KPIs used:

• DPI: Deficiency Per Inspection (#DEF/#PSCIs)
• DER: Detention Rate, in % (#DET/100 x #PSCIs)
• HFC mDPI: Human Factors & Crewing mDPI (Deficiencies Per Inspection, expressed in mDPI or Deficiencies per 1k PSCIs)
• ROC mDPI: Regulatory & Operational Compliance mDPI (Deficiencies Per Inspection, expressed in mDPI or Deficiencies per 1k PSCIs)
• SSE mDPI: Ship Structure & Equipment mDPI (Deficiencies Per Inspection, expressed in mDPI or Deficiencies per 1k PSCIs)
• SDR: SMS Deficiency Rate, The number of ISM (15xxx) Deficiencies & Repeat Deficiencies (recorded in more than one PSCI on the same ship within 36 months) per 100 PSCIs
• PDI: Predicted Deficiency Index (%DEF recorded during PSCI that are predictable and included in the POCRA Checklist)
• SCORE: Overall PSC Performance SCORE (Worst=0%, Average=50%, Best=100%, details at www.risk4sea.co,m/methodology)
